Rusty Nails

After first having, imho, nothing of worth to say and then just getting lazy, falling behind on other things and getting sick (I don't care what anyone else says suffering from complete exhaustion is an illness!!) Fiiiiiiiinally....Rusty...has...come...back... (Miss you Rocky *sniff* *sniff*)

So I still don't know if I'm going to keep my job, the most news we've got since the merger is that Bowne are going to move in here (Dun Laoighre) and some of there big shots are around at the moment checking things out. Still I'm sure we'll be kept informed and told things when we need to know (like when everyone outside the company has been told first). Still I'm not going to worry about it.

In other news Tom moved out, he's gone back to Luxemburg, I miss him *sniff*. I keep expecting to hear him when I get home from work in the evenings :( To fill the void left by his departure Morgan and Carol moved in :)

I've just finished catching up on my mailing list, this is due to the amount of stuff I had to read after joining the Changeling Larp (loved it) but of course I'm going to be back to square one in soon as I joined the Vampire Larp on Tuesday (still not sure about this one though). Speaking of which got a mail off Dametri (Ed's character) basically saying "And who the fuck are you???" Ed can be scary when he wants to, who'd have thought!!

Got around to checking other people’s blogs too, had to go through archives but I think I'm up to speed now. Donal's done some funky new stuff with his, it changes colour while you're reading it. Made me think I really should just make some time to do something new with mine 'cos I'm really not happy with it. On the up side though I discovered that the Web café under my building has a scanner so at least now I can go in there and scan some new photo's to put up on the site instead of trying to do it when I go home to Cork and failing miserably because I never was any good at time management and I'd rather be in the pub.

SummerSlam was on Sunday, in what I considered a wise move I taped it and watched it Monday instead. STOP READING NOW IF YOU PLAN ON WATCHING IT...MARK!!

It was GLORIOUS!!! Mysterio is fantastic, his match against Kurt was amazing and he was robbed of the victory he deserved. Booker T and Goldust vs Lance Storm and Christian was good but goddamn it Booker and Goldust should be tag team champs now. The HHH vs HBK was one of the absolute best matches I've seen in a while. And then came the end, *sniff*, Rocky and Brock. I knew Rocky was going to lose, it was a forgone conclusion what with him leaving and all for another movie *sniff*, I just can't believe that he lost so easily or that Brock is champ!!! Of course while it was a *really* good match it had to follow in the shadow of the HHH/HBK match, which much as it pains me to say it, was the better match. I miss you already Rockyyyyyyyy!!! *sniff*

So everyone else seems to be heading to GenConUK round about now, unfortunately due to work fucking me over earlier this year as regards holidays I couldn’t go :( Which is upsetting because I should have been demoing L5R which would have been fun and meant that I'd have got free accommodation. Plus I could have seen Paula and Bernard even if Ber is moving back to Cork in a few days. But hey to make up for it my mummy rang me yesterday and informed me that they'd finally found a holiday they wanted to go on so I'm off to Portugal on Sunday folks for some sun and fun and I can't wait :)
